What does the Battery Breezer do?
The Battery Breezer gives your old batteries, a new breeze! He works with a special procedure whereby the sulfate deposits are removed from the lead plates. Simultaneously by enhancing the decomposition of the sulfates, the density of the electrolytic solution is increased. The removal of the deposits of the lead plates is achieved by precisely timed rate controlled, wave-shaped current impulses. Batteries which were "breezed" in this way, will have more capacity and thus increase the range of the scooter. You can brush up conventional 12 volt lead-acid as well as lead acid batteries with a capacity from 30 AH to 500 AH. (E.g. car batteries).
Breezing should not be done, when it is too late. Therefore, it is recommended to do so yearly. In addition, the Battery Breezer has a charging function. Thus, 12-volt batteries are not only breezed but also charged at the same time.
What are the advantages for a user of the Battery Breezer?
The biggest advantage, is of course, the increased range of the Solar Scooter. If the old battery runs out of sap, the Battery Breezer brings fresh air to the battery. The nice side effect is that anyone using the Breezer protects the environment, by reusing batteries instead of disposing them and purchasing new ones. Another advantage is the shorter charging time. While a measly battery takes longer until it is full, a freshly breezed battery charges faster and thus saves power.
Model: BB48M
The Battery Breezer BB48M does essentially the same as its big brother the BB2x12S. This model however is built directly into the electric scooters and breezes the entire battery pack every time you charge it. This type is designed for 48 volts. Further it also extends the battery's life considerably.
