Why is mobility using electric power the means of the future?

Besides the fact, that crude oil resources are not indefinite and already now wars are being led over them, the price spiral has just begun to rise.

Surely also the cost of electricity will increase. But since January 1st, 2009 the kWh electric power is valued at 18 €-cent and this will remain unchanged for the next 20 years (EEG, compensation for solar energy)

The Solar-Scooter (electric scooter),  uses an electric motor with a degree of efficiency of 90 to 95 %.
Modern diesel engines only reach 30%, and gasoline engines barely attain 25 %.

This implies that you need less energy: Mobility remains affordable.
